Sep 22 1964″Man from U.N.C.L.E.” premieres on NBC-TV:

The show was focused on a two-man troubleshooting team working for U.N.C.L.E. (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement)

Robert Vaughn played American Napoleon Solo, and David McCallum played Soviet Illya Kuryakin. Leo G. Carroll played Alexander Waverly, the British head of the organization

The series premiered on September 22, 1964 and was canceled on January 15, 1968.

The remake of Man from U.N.C.L.E was released in 2015 and directed by Guy Richie. Richie stated that the film was more like a tribute opposed to a remake.

The film was a moderate finical success with critics basically split about the quality of the film.
